Δυτικες εταιριες απετυχαν να παρεχουν εγγυησεις σε ρωσικα deals λογω ...δυτικων sanctions.

Tο Διαιτητικό Δικαστήριο της Αγίας Πετρούπολης και της Περιφέρειας Λένινγκραντ, κατόπιν αιτήματος της εταιρείας RusChemAlliance, διαχειριστή έργου για την κατασκευή συγκροτήματος επεξεργασίας και υγροποίησης αερίου στην Ust-Luga, κατάσχεσε ακίνητα, λογαριασμούς και τίτλους της Deutsche Bank αξίας των 238,61 εκατ. ευρώ.
Η γερμανική τράπεζα ήταν ένας από τους εγγυητές δανειστές στο πλαίσιο σύμβασης για την κατασκευή μονάδας επεξεργασίας φυσικού αερίου στη Ρωσία με τη γερμανική Linde, η οποία τερματίστηκε λόγω των κυρώσεων από τη Δύση.
Προηγουμένως, η RusChemAlliance υπέβαλε αγωγή κατά της Deutsche Bank για 22,2 δισ. ρούβλια (238,1 εκατ. ευρώ σε πληρωμές μεσεγγύησης και 479,51 χιλιάδες ευρώ σε πρόστιμα) ως μέρος των απαιτήσεων τραπεζικής εγγύησης και ζήτησε τον αποκλεισμό του 100% των θυγατρικών της Deutsche Bank στη Ρωσία. Η αγωγή ύψους 238,61 εκατ. ευρώ επιβλήθηκε σε τίτλους και περιουσιακά στοιχεία της Deutsche Bank και της ρωσικής θυγατρικής της Deutsche Bank LLC, καθώς και της Deutsche Bank Technology Center LLC.

Μία ημέρα πριν, το ίδιο δικαστήριο, πάλι κατόπιν αιτήματος της ίδιας εταιρείας, διέταξε την κατάσχεση των ακινήτων, λογαριασμών και τίτλων της Unicredit Bank Jsc και της Unicredit Bank Ag, των ρωσικών και γερμανικών θυγατρικών της Unicredit αντίστοιχα.
Η υπόθεση συνδέεται με την έκδοση «ομολόγου καλής απόδοσης» από την Unicredit και άλλες τράπεζες βάσει σύμβασης που έχει συναφθεί μεταξύ της RusChemAlliance και της κοινοπραξίας Linde για την κατασκευή μονάδας επεξεργασίας αερίου.
Η κοινοπραξία Linde υπαναχώρησε από τη δέσμευση λόγω του καθεστώτος κυρώσεων της ΕΕ και η ρωσική εταιρεία ζήτησε την πληρωμή εγγυήσεων από τις τράπεζες. Αυτοί αρνήθηκαν να πραγματοποιήσουν την πληρωμή και η διαφορά αντιμετωπίζεται πλέον στο δικαστήριο, όπου έχει διαταχθεί συντηρητική κατάσχεση περιουσιακών στοιχείων της Unicredit ύψους 463 εκατ. ευρώ.

Απο μεθαυριο (20/5) ο Ζελενσκι θα ναι και τυπικα παρανομος προεδρος στην ουκρανια αφου αυτη τη στιγμη ειναι προεδρος λογω εξ'αναβολων εκλογων - ομως αυτο δεν υποτιθεται οτι ειναι επ απειρω.

Το προβλημα δεν ειναι οτι ο Ζελενσκι θα ναι επισημα παρανομος απ'τις 20/5 και μετα, ειναι το τι θα γινει με τυχον συνθηκες ειρηνης που θα υπογραφουν με τη ρωσια. Ρωτανε τον Πουτιν τι θα γινει με το καθεστως της ουκρανιας και λεει εμας η νομιμοτητα του μας ενδιαφερει μονο στο βαθμο που θα υπογραψουμε μαζι τους συνθηκες και αυτες πρεπει να ειναι υπογεγραμμενες απο εγκυρη ηγεσια (για να εχουν ισχυ).

The former commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Ivan Popov, has been detained in a criminal case for fraud on a particularly large scale, reports TASS .

"The former commander of the 58th Guards General Army, Ivan Ivanovich Popov, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud," a source of the Russian agency said. According to him, the request of the investigation to choose a measure of remand in custody was examined in the 235th Garrison Military Court. Law enforcement did not provide other details.

The military court confirmed Popov's arrest.

Popov began his service as a platoon commander in the 56th Airborne Assault Regiment and later commanded various military units. Participated in Ukraine in various sectors, including as commander of the 58th Army.

According to an investigation cited by The Moscow Times, the general, who was part of a criminal group, is believed to have sold about 2,000 tons of metal products that were received as part of humanitarian aid and were intended for the construction of fortifications in Zaporozhye region, the defense of which was then the responsibility of the 58th Army. Another high-ranking officer, whose name has not been specified, from the Southern Military District, as well as an entrepreneur from Russia's Krasnodar region, are involved in the case. Russian forces recently began a summer offensive, grabbing several villages on Ukraine's north-eastern frontier near the city of Kharkiv as they attempt to break through a weakened Ukrainian front line.

Kharkiv's regional leader said seven people had been hurt as a result of Russian drone strikes on the city overnight.

Meanwhile a Ukrainian drone strike across the border into Belgorod killed at least one person, according to Russian media.

Speaking at a press briefing, the WHO’s Jarno Habicht said that 14,000 had fled the fighting in the area, but the 189,000 people who remained near the border with Russia faced “significant risks due to ongoing fighting”.

Ukraine still controls about 60% of Vovchansk, a border town at the heart of the recent fighting, deputy regional head Roman Semenukha told national television on Monday.

Another Ukrainian military official told AFP that fighting in the Kharkiv "remains difficult and is changing dynamically".

Russia is increasingly using cheap but highly destructive "glide bombs" to advance its offensive in Ukraine. More than 200 of them are thought to have been used in just a week to hit Vovchansk.

At an unannounced trip to Kyiv on Tuesday, Germany’s foreign minister Annalena Baerbock urged the West to supply more air defence weapons so that Ukrainians were protected from the "rain of Russian drones and missiles”.

The governor of Russia's Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine, said that a woman was killed and three others were injured as a result of a drone strike on a moving car.

"A kamikaze drone attacked a moving car in which there was a driver and three passengers," Belgorod’s governor said in a post on Telegram.

Vyacheslav Gladkov said a woman died at the scene, about 12km (7 miles) from the Ukrainian border. Three other people in the vehicle were wounded, he said.

The US-based Institute for the Study of War think tank has said the aim of Russia's assault in the Kharkiv region is to create a buffer zone to fend off Ukraine’s own cross-border attacks.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky warned last week that the Russian ground offensive may only be a "first wave".
